A return to blogging and social interaction with the world at large

Well its been a while. Much has happened since I updated this log from Honduras on September 13th. Since that time I have in somewhat chronological order, picked up some stomach disease from Honduras, started grad school, passed my first quarter, met some new friends in Cali, visited some wonderful family in Cali, developed a somewhat decent research project for this coming summer involving (you guessed it) sea turtles in Honduras, started attending Trinity Evangelical church in Redlands, CA, attended a Bible study, relaxed Christmas break (a wonderful 3 weeks of paradise), been hiking in the Olympics, learned how to cook a wide range of delicious comestibles (Not to be confused with combustibles), hung with WA friends and fam, returned to CA, started a 7:30 Ochem class at a community college (Way too early for anyone to get up except a farmer), and planned a trip to Honduras over spring break to learn how to scuba dive (Seriously, its part of my research). Within the next few months things are only going to get crazier. For Valentines Day, my amazing roomie from college who I haven't seen since graduation, the indubitable David Banz, is coming to see me! Times are looking up! Additionally, for spring break I'll be headed down to Honduras for the aforementioned scuba diving class (Something I've always dreamed of doing), and in May I'll be headed up to see my relatives in Modesto! Then the big wammy comes this summer. I'll be spending the entirety of my summer in Honduras working on my masters thesis! Anyway, I realize this post is highly irregular, somewhat long winded, and definitely a run-on sentence so I will end shortly. For all you grammar people, I promise these posts will get better in the future, (You'll just have to trust me), and for all you visual people here is an adorable picture of a hawksbill hatchling (not one I have actually seen, but still cute).
